OK, but once again, make sure you check compatibility first. Deployment frequencies vary around the world. I think it's worse for CDMA because there has at least been some effort to rationalize frequency bands with 3GPP/UMTS/WCDMA because the "GSM" customer base tends to expect to roam globally more than the "CDMA" customer base does. (There just aren't that many CDMA carriers in the world any more.)

What I would do if I were you is call up Verizon's customer service dept in the USA and ask them if a Verizon device will roam on 3G in China, and where and on which network in particular.

Because CDMA devices don't use a SIM, many CDMA carriers prevent devices from working on their network if the MEID or ESN is "foreign".

I used to have a Nexus S 4G of Verizon. And it does have not a sim card slot, although the CDMA carrier in China do use sim card.
So how can u use a CDMA cellphone with not sim slot in China?
We just need to WRITE the information (MDN IMSI_S HomeSID A-Key EVDO user/pass ESN) to the phone. And it's done. Call text 3G, everything works just fine.
Sounds crazy, but I DO do it by myself, and it really works.
Of course, first you have to pay little money to buy the information of your own CDMA sim card.

Things changed since the release of iPhone5 from Verizon.
With some tricks, u just insert the sim card of ANY CARRIER ( GSM WCDMA CDMA), and it works.
So does Lumia 928, and I think Z10 from Verizon will be the same.
