    One of my friends that worked in waterloo last year told me there is some big news coming this week regarding the sale of the company to a united states company. He still has some contacts in there and that's what they told him (people that are also losing their jobs)

    Wonder which company it would be??

    Maybe microsoft??

    I didn't know there was another thread, I have had sever friends work at the waterloo facility I worked there a intern for four months as well in 2008. That's what my friend told me, he wouldn't make up stuff but who knows.

    It's difficult to believe that employees would know about this before the stock market found out about it. Then again, the stock has been holding right at $8 all week with very little variation. Perhaps that's the acquisition price.
