Last night i took my 9860 and with the BBSAK perform a wipe and then continued to load the os 7.0.0.576 wich is an official OS with the loader, did my restore on DM as usual, all normal but now i feel it strange sometimes it freezes and i have to hard reset it. Help
You should definitely put 7.1 on it. I'm not saying 7.0 is causing the issues because it didn't cause any problems on my 9860. 7.1.0.190 was what I was running and it was definitely snappier than the 7.0 I had been running.
Other than that a few battery pulls in a row and a few hours letting it settle in might help but maybe not.
If all else fails you could switch to a Bold 9900, that's what I did and am happy I did.
First of all, geniuses also have a life so give some time for them to reply. 2 hours is calling it a bit too short.
Secondly, there's a thread for the 9860. You might find that people there respond faster as it's a thread specifically for the 9860.
Thirdly, I would try two things:
1) Load Telstra latest 7.1 OS as it seems to be most stable.
2) I wouldn't do a complete restore from DM. I will restore my contacts and calendars, but will reinstall my apps from App World one by one.
The os is already loaded but it's taking too long for the loader to reconnect with the phone (almost 20min by now)... I'm just sitting here waiting it to finish

I had a 9850, and it had a few problems - the forum for that series of phone has a lot of helpful suggestions. Even so, could I have switched to a Bold 99-series without paying over $200, I'd have done so.
Could always do the retro thing like me, and wait for BB OS 10 to be released and debugged by early adopters.
it does take some time. Has it reconnected by now?
I've been using it and still freezes from time to time and had to hard reset it... Maybe it's because the os is still setling in, so I'll be patient and just wait 2 days doing battery pulls when needed until the freeze stops.

Yeah buddy that's why I'm worried about my phone, I just want it to make it to October so I can rock the os10.
The thing about getting other BB is that I live in Venezuela and these phones aren't that cheap at all here because of the popularity (blackberry here has almost 70% of the total smarthphones in the streets)
