    Okay all these apps and appworld. just take something like a doodling app for example. why would anyone ever pay money for an app like that? Sure it's fun for a little but what are you really gonna use it for for hours? I'm not a developer at all but dont some ppl just make these little games for fun just because they can?

    Sorry this is sorta a rant. =p

    Some do, but there also needs to be a source for discovery, and we are starting to see what is developed and developing here.

    The new setup will help focus what the RIM world wants in a consumer app market. Not gonna be perfect, just a start.

    Do you realize that there is more than one application designed to make the sounds of flatulence?

    Seems to indicate that the lowest common denominator for consumers is just barely skimming the surface of the primordial gene pool.

    So why make these apps? Why not. Someone will buy them.
