Is Blackberry desinging huawei phones or is huawei desinging blackberrys? lol
They said the Z10 looked like the iPhone. These things happen. hehe
the z10 had the separated bezels to differentiate it.. these 2 phones actually look identical.
The Z10 and the HTC One look a lot alike too.

the speaker looks identical, the bezel size looks identical. Looks alot closer than htc one did to z10 or iphone.
Imitation is the sincerest form...
Your on to something there hummmm

What they actually meant was that the Z10's front looked like the iPhone's back. :p
And yeah, the Z10 and HTC One are twins separated at birth lol.

took a better pic, trying to get the same angle.
I think what differentiate the Z30 is mostly the bottom colored tab, not the top. Perhaps if we had the whole picture it would be different.

maybe thats why they arent showing it :cant-watch:
The colours on your z30 are vibrant compared to the other phone.
Could this be that Blackberry may shift it's hardware business to Huawei ? Something is up here and looking at these photos my mind begins to race.
I see an absolute strategic partner angle is this is the case. Huawei is a monster and it needs some help in the Trust department as the US is concerned about this company.
Lets see what Mr Chen will say on the earnings call.
Great find I hope you are on to something
As long as Huawei is a member of the Open Handset Alliance, and/or as long as BB10 contains Android code, Huawei will not be able to build BB phones - that is prohibited by membership in the OHA. Members cannot build hardware for non-Google-certified Android, which BB10 is considered to be.
Meh, they're all just slabs of plastic, metal and glass.

true but they all have their unique qualities (usually)
Wait... is that the Z30? And I'm talking about the huawei phone.

What does the rest of the Hauwei phone look like? Because a lot of tops of phones look like that.
It's an un announced phone. No one knows yet

Ah gotcha. I don't really keep up with Android leaks so I didn't know.
Source? I have never heard of the OHA prohibiting OEMs that are members from building devices for competing or forked platforms. Last I recall, the only requirement was that an OEM (member or not) cannot brand their offerings as Google/Android unless they follow the OHA stipulations. There's nothing to prevent them from building other devices using a forked Android along side their official Android devices. They just simply can't brand those forks as Google/Android. HTC has done it before (with the failed FB phone), and reputedly doing it again with an offering for Amazon.
None of their government clients would buy phones sourced from Huweii. US government demanded Sprint remove their stuff from their network.

That's ********. All phones are made in China already.

I don't get all this crap with all the concern with China. They're another super power? Big deal.
So I was hallucinating when I saw congressional hearings where Huweii was specifically called out.... oh well here it is http://www.rcrwireless.com/article/2...nextel-huawei/
And no phones are made many other places than China.
