    Does anybody know how to get outlook email onto the blackberry storm 9530...

    I had a pearl and my email worked fine. i got a storm for christmas and i cannot get my work email on it. Everytime i try to activate in the enterprise activation it fails....

    Does anyone know how to fix this? is it because i have not deleted my email settings on my old blackberryl???

    Do you have BIS or BES on your Storm? If you are connecting to an enterprise email server you need BES.

    Have you contacted your IT department to issue you a new activation password? And do you have the proper plan added onto the device? (Enterprise data not personal data)

    Call your carrier to see if the plan is correct, call your IT department to get your activation password.

    Well my email worked on the pearl and i havent changed my plan only the phone. So i'm assuming i have enterprise data.

    Are you sure you are on BES? If you are on BES you would have had to do the enteripise activation on your previous phone.

    Are you on a corporate network? Did you just connect your device to your PC at work and the activation started?

    ok so its a BES, and you will probably need them to reactivate you.

    I have enterprise activation and Im BIS.
    All phone will have an enterprise activation option, you type in your email address and password supplied by your BES admin and then the activation process begins. I think the OP is getting confused and putting in his email address and email password thinking it will activate his email.

    If this is true, then the solution is to talk to your IT department and ask them for a new activation password for the BES, at this point you cannot do this without their assistance.
