Hi,

Perhaps this is a weird question but I was wondering if anyone know the name of the software that companies/websites use when you ask them to unlock software. What programs do they use? I have done a search for it but it seems to be as secretive as the contents of Area 51

Does anyone know? For example if I wanted to setup a website where I wanted to charge people a fee to unlock their blackberries what software would I need? What are the names of the programs?

I would guess it's proprietary software, not legally available.

It is not software, it requires access to the carrier database to generate an unlocking code.
