I use MySpace and Facebook mainly to keep up with friends and family. I usually don't even check them unless I get an email saying I have something on them. Forums, on the other hand, are my weakness. At any given time I usually have multiple thread from at least two forums, sometimes related, sometimes not (Phones, Guns, Cars, Motorcycles usually).
To expand, keep an eye on the pulse of society. When countries hold press conferences and dueling enemies plead their cases by Twitter, it is time to quit ignoring social media.
As I said in that post, companies are clearly getting in on the play. It makes sense. Colleges and employers reportedly use Facebook to gauge suitability. MySpace is no longer the domain of lonely high school kids.
Point being, I humbly think these social networking sites will be more interwoven in our lives in the very near future. I think it benefits us all to at least take a look.
I have a myspace profile that I set up years ago. I do enjoy Twitter though. I just can't get into using BBM as a "social network". So only personal friends have my pin.
