Hi There -

I am new to BB and I have asked the Verizon guys at 3 different stores about this and they look at me blankly.

In my previous phone - all text messages were separated from all other messages. No notes about missed calls, voice mails, etc. - only texted messages. And it was good! How do I do this???

Is there a way to do this???

i just found this out...if u select messages...got press ur bb button and select.. options...then select general options..scroll down to sms and email inboxes...then hit separate, save and hopefully that will work for u. :/

Hi Linda -thanks for the reply!

Here is the missing step

after you do go to messages > menu > Options > General Options > SMS and Email Inboxes > change to Separate

You must then go to the phone function itself!

Phone > menu > Options > Call Logging > set to NONE!

This cleans everything but the text messages from the SMS and MMS application. Fear not - your call log still shows the calls!

Wow, to get this information was way harder than it should have been! Where is that EASY button!
