I'm just curious - does a provider like Telus keep logs of SMS messages? Are they accessible to a subscriber? My husband & I both have BBs, and share a plan. Can I ask Telus to provide his logs to me? How much would such a service cost?
I'm fairly certain that carriers don't have a way to keep logs of SMS. I know it can be done over BES, but I don't think carriers can.
In any case, even if Telus had full logs of all his SMS, including details from and to with a time and date stamp, they wouldn't be able to release them to you. Privacy issues. It would take a court order, and again, only if they existed.
