The more I use the browser on my 9900 the better it seems to be getting with more and more sites being mobile optimized and I'd guess html 5 plays a big part as well. Just quite happy at how well my bb browses at the moment compared to my old 9700 so thought I'd see if many people feel the same about there o/s 7 bb's?!

I had os 6 and its big jump from that aswell- much better rendering and formatting of sites. Like I said, just seems to be getting better as sites are developed.(I guess iphone using html 5 heavily doesn't hurt!)

OS7 is a joy to browse on. I spend twice as much time browsing on my phone now compared to before.

Flash malware is thankfully dying. Every mobile browser (and eventually desktop browser) benefits from the leadership shown in ignoring a platform that deserved to die. Oh sure, everyone criticized the bold move, but if no one had been willing to do the right thing, we'd still have mainstream sites flash-infested.

The web is a better place today than it was two years ago, and will be better still when Flash finally dies off.

2 things that made web browsing more enjoyable for me-

Larger screen--I can't imagine trying to browse the web on a screen size like my 9700 ever again. Even my 9800 is too small now.

Ability to use flash and mobile--Some sites I really enjoy browsing like on a desktop/laptop and others I like as mobile. I don't like being limited.

I have a tablet and a laptop if I need to see something in flash. Flash on a phone just feels out of place and doesn't function how I would like it to. It'll be a good day when flash completely dies. HTML5 is just so much better.

Well, even the well-written Flash material (oxymoron?) anticipates a mouse. It just doesn't work on mobile, it kills battery because it's not optimized for mobile, and it's the top malware entry point.

You may miss out on some porn and really poorly written games, plus some bad ads, but we're all better off now that Adobe conceded the Flash war.

I am very glad that I don't have flah on this blackberry. I am waiting for the moment most of the video sites I use drop flash player entirely for HTML5. Dailymotion has, youtube partially dropped flash, but still depends on it heavily. Viddler has yet to step it up, break.com needs to drop flash, blip.tv also has to, including social networking sites that support video uploads. Twitvid.com does too, thankfully. HTML5 FOR THE WORLD!!!

Flash is . It takes forever to load and takes a lot of processing. HTML 5 is neat and has great features for devs.

I dunno. Flash might take a lot of processing but web pages that are flash based don't take any longer to load than the mobile sites I visit. Well, maybe half to a full second longer but that's about how long it takes to bat an eye, so kinda a moot point to me.

Maybe so but then it will be on much more capable software- I'm just saying I think flash would hurt current o/s 7 devices more than help- for now its all good!

Imo having a native feature that runs rubbish will hurt a brand- this way of thinking has never hurt iphone sales has it.
