I have a question about switching the SIM from my BB to another phone. Lets say I had a cheaper phone that I would want to take with me somewhere because I don't want to risk damaging my BB. For the sake of this post we will say a Nokia 2610b.
Will the phone function correctly? My plan is unlimited data/text so obviously the text will work but what about the data? Is anything weird going to happen? or will it simply function as a basic phone?
I did this for bout a week waiting for my new Curve to come to me, i could still check emails on my Curve but i couldn't hear people talking or they couldn't hear me, only part sux is Smart phones take time to boot up but that isn't end of the world. Browser will work it did on my junk Nokia but of course you cant read ur Blackberry mail.
