I just got a Tour 9630 for Sprint from my friend and want to use it for verizon. The only thing is that I don't have a verizon sim card to use, so i cant activate it for verizon, or even unlock it for that matter--I do have a MEP2 code to unlock it though. What do I do, what type of Sim Card do i need to get, and where/how can I get it?????
Long answer ...
1. You cannot use a Sprint 9630 on Verizon. Verizon will not activate it.
2. Neither Verizon nor Sprint use SIM cards in the US. They are CDMA networks.
3. Unlocking with the MEP2 code pertains to the GSM side of the device not the CDMA side.
Short answer ... you cannot use that device on Verizon. It's not going to happen.
