I was looking at my phone (bb curve 8310) and noticed the send/receive data arrows flashing in the top right corner, however there was no incoming call/text message...is this normal?

I am expecting an important text today so i'm a bit worried that something happened and I missed it..

It is especially prevalent if you have 3rd party apps that use data, like weather apps, Viigo, etc.

there is always different data going back and forth so its nothing to worry about.
