This is suppose to be a website where people come and say nice things about their BlackBerry smartphone. As of late all I see is people commenting on BlackBerry, calling them Liars, Cheats, Frauds, Con-Artists etc etc. This from people who are BlackBerry users and some. So. I would like to say something nice about BlackBerry.

My first Smartphone was a BlackBerry Curve 8520. I am now on my 5th Device which is a Z10 Stormtrooper. All my Devices 8520, 9300, 9360, 9790 and now Z10 have been flawless and worked above and beyond the call of duty. BlackBerry was my first Smartphone and it'll be my last. Times may be hard but we all love our BlackBerry smartphones. #TeamBlackBerry #BlackBerryElites.UK.

I have no love for my BlackBerry smart phone or any other device (or form of transportation) I currently use. I like and use aspects of them, but in no way, shape or form is that love.

My Blackberry Torch has never had a problem, and my business associates recommend their Bold 9900's as reliable, easy to use mobile "work horses", however, those who have migrated to the Q10, without exception, all hate it. Blackberry is rapidly losing core, long time users as the Q10 and Z10 appear to making many business users very upset.

Most of the time the arguing is in good fun. CB is and always will be a great place. If everyone agreed this place would be no fun.

A true fansite should also talk about negative things and should criticize were critics are needed. Not blindlessly shout and praise every step taken by their company. Funny this is often thrown against Apple fans and blogs, who per se always praise every single step Apple takes.

But to stay ontopic:
I still like my Q10, because it mostly fits the needs I currently have for a mobile phone. I also still like my Bold 9900, which is used by my girlfriend as of now. But both devices are far from being "perfect".

Everyone I know that migrated to Q10 from Bold 9900 love it, so much for "Without Exception"

I try to ignore all the negativity and not look into it..because I don't want one users experience or negative opinion detour how I feel. All I know is that I enjoy my BB10 device. None of us really know what's going on at BlackBerry HQ's or what they do...everyone is just so quick to judge at the drop of the hat..it's easy to want to jump on the bandwagon if you look too much into it. To each their own though, but I just chose to avoid reading the threads like the OP mentioned.

I don't love any inanimate objects.
I don't fall in love with companies or their products. That is a very dangerous thing to do. Leads to poor investment strategies.

I wish the Q10 did all of the things I NEED it to do. It does many of the things I want it to do.

My Z10 is a phone. I run some applications on it, but it's nothing more than a phone. Same goes for the stevephone 5 and galaxy S 666. I typically use my phone for texting, calling, and web browsing, and I don't feel there's a better product on the market than the Z10 for my specific needs. If there's an android app I want, I sideload it, and get tired of it after a few days, just like most anything else.

Funnily enough I just spent a bit of time with a close friend that upgraded from the 9900 to a Q10. They were struggling with understanding many of the new concepts, and felt 'lost' in the new OS. Almost everything about the phone is different, which is not unexpected... it is an entirely new OS.

I enjoy learning new things and loved playing around the new interface on my Z10 when I first got it.. but I can certainly understand how quickly people can become frustrated with the new OS.. they key is to build out some tutorials.

I think I'm going to play around with doing a few in the next week or two and see how they go. If they help people I will do some more. I will post them to CB when they are live.
