ok, i did a battery pull around mid day yesterday, and i just checked free memory, its already down by 4mb.

i think this might be a little extreme.

im a complete memory ***** and usually have around 28mb free after a fresh battery pull.

im running 4.5.0.52 on my 8320 curve.

im always checking what i have up and what i can close to save some memory.

any suggestions?

That is extremely bad.

Are you leaving programs running? Also are you running Viigo? Viigo has been known to eat memory alive but going from 28MB to 4MB seems a little crazy.

Oh ok... Thats not too much out of the norm. If you were to clear your cache, most of that 4 MB that you lost would come back.

I am at mid 24 free file after a battery pull and usually run mid 19. I have not done a battery pull in a few days, just clearing my cache, call logs, etc.

I running 4.5.0.52on my 8300 and memory loss is terrible! I can go from 26mb to 15 or so in a matter of hours!

Ive asked this question before but no one seems to know the answer. i went from the 8100 to the 8110. File total mem on 8100 was 64. File total on 8110 is 58. My file free on 8110 changes constantly 3 or 4 megs at a time. My question is for any 8110 users,,,what is your file total amount. Everything i have found on the 8110 says it should be 64.

Even with running .55 i still have leaked about 3-4mb throughout the course of the day...somedays no leak at all though. I wish i could pinpoint it.
