Ive had blackberrys for a few years now and have had problems with all of them. i found it odd when i had my first problem with one because when i had just feature phones i never ever had a problem

im thinking about buying an LG thrive soon here because i want to try an android phone and then in july or whenever the iphone 5 comes out my neighbor who i am very good friends with is giving me her iphone 4 so im pretty excited about that and idk am i going to miss blackberrry? im definatly going to miss BBM with my friends but they all have problems with their blackberrys too, so maybe they will make the switch with me..

idk, am i making the wrong decision?

I think the LG Thrive is a perfect first Android device.
You'll certainly enjoy all the applications you'll be able to have and whatnot.
Although the LG virtual keyboard AT&T chose for the default keyboard option is horrid, you can change it and use the stock Android.
(Which is much better in my opinion!)

I recommend watching the a video review of the device first to see what you'll be working with!
