it should be noted that you are assuming a huge amount of variables here. apps running in background, amount of email accounts added, screen brightness signal strength and many many other factors affect battery life, so to attempt a blanket statement simply doesn't work for any device. I think that's what AG was meaning with his post.

Anyone who wants a BlackBerry over an iPhone should have themselves checked out.
BlackBerry 10 has no apps, resets randomly. Doesn't even get a proper signal anywhere except right under a cell phone tower. Stick with the iPhone, it will serve you better.

Please spend time with a device (Z10 or whatever you are comparing) before making crazy statements like that.

Then why does my phone still resets thrice a day? How come I don't get a signal on T-Mobile anywhere?
Yours is a typical fan boy response. Wake up and see what's what.

    Posted via CB10
I think you answered your question in your own statement. Could it be the signal provided by T-Mobile? I was a customer with T-Mobile for 11 years. Wasn't happy with their service so switched.

Come on dude! Your on BlackBerry enthusiast site and your asking if you should switch to a BB10 device? I mean come on!

Yes, yes and ummm yeah you should get a BB10 device. If your coming from an iOS device then get the Z10. Get it in white if your still hesitant to make the move to Berry.

I have had the Z10 since launch day. Don't have any other phone. Haven't used anything but blackberry since 2007. I frankly, love my Z10.

Are you suggesting that t-mobile is sending a reset signal to the Z10? Because no other phone resets randomly on T-Mobile

    "Should I get a Blackberry 10 Device"

    There's other devices?

No, really, wife loves here Q and my daughter and I love our Z's. Z's batt lasts the whole day for me, wife's Q batt is better though. The decision is a personal one though, as some have said. We proffer the larger screen size, she proffers having the keyboard over screen size, thus personal choice.

My Z-10 never boots on it's own. I have no issues with this phone. None at all.

Well I'm in India and my Z10 has not reset once in four months.
However I was in America the whole of July and my Z10 would reset at least three times daily. Drove me nuts. And my cousin had an At&t Z10 and that also randomly rebooted.
I'm back in India for a week now and not a single reboot which I hadn't initiated.

Odd, I have excellent signal strength with my Z and the OP has Verizon which from my understanding has one of the better tower networks. Read the OP's post where he/she states that apps are not an issue. Apps have improved tremendously anyway. The OP is looking for a good communication device with excellent battery life. That describes the Q10.
