Finally got through to check on my order for my 64gb Playbook. Order status showed nothing, as it had since I placed the order last night. Sent a scathing email to check on the status of my order and the overnight shipping. Surprise, surprise...about 15 minutes after the email was sent, I get a shipping confirmation. Hope to have my new Playbook by this time tomorrow!
I have been having issues.

Pathetic service. Placed order for 64gb Playbook on 1/2/12 a little before 10 PM CST. Since I was getting it at such a good price, didn't mind paying almost $26 for overnight shipping, thinking I would be getting my Playbook on Wednesday.
Spent most of the day on 1/3/12 trying to get onto the website to see if there was any progress on my order. When I could get through, all my order showed was received - no confirmation of payment or shipping, no charge on my credit card, and nothing from customer service. Tried calling the number, but got the "we're experiencing higher than normal call volumes, please consider sending an email". Since I didn't have time to wait on hold, I emailed asking about my order. About 15 minutes later, I get an mail saying my Playbook had shipped. Said it was coming by USPS, and provided me a tracking link. Link NEVER showed any information.
Mail comes and goes today - no Playbook. Check the site - shows it shipped yesterday. No credit card charge. Email customer service again. 5 minutes later, get a new email stating my unit has shipped - with today's date, and with a FedEx tracking number. Tracking number works and shows the Playbook shipped this afternoon. Email customer service again, asking why I received conflicting shipping messages, and stating that I will not pay for overnight shipping since I did not get the Playbook overnight from the time they said they shipped it.
Approximately 30 minutes later, I get a response from some customer service rep for my first email stating the Playbook shipped on 1/2, and that I should be getting it tomorrow, which would mean I'm scheduled to receive it on 1/5. I responded with the fact that I will not pay for overnight shipping because I did not receive it overnight. Have not heard back from them, and still see no charge on my credit card. The FedEx tracking number does show the shipment in transit.
I understand the Shop Blackberry site is run by another company, but this is absolutely pathetic. Can't wait to see what they finally charge my card. I realize it's just $25 dollars, but if I pulled that crap with my customers, I would be out the door before my VP finished removing her boot from my rear end. Wow, just wow. :mad:
UPDATE - just received another email from customer service...this one said they shipped my PB today, and that I should expect it in 5 to 7 days - when I asked for overnight shipping. Not sure what the FedEx truck will be bringing me this afternoon, but I hope it's my Playbook.
It's pretty obvious they don't have a clue as to what is going on...wow.
Yikes, that's not very encouraging. I ordered up my 64gb playbook yesterday morning around 10am. When I type in my order number, last name, and phone number absolutely nothing comes up, like it hasn't been processed yet. I got just the standard free shipping, and it's only been a little over 24 hours since I placed the order, so I know I don't have room to complain just yet. I just hope that no problems happen with my order.
UPDATE
I now have my 64gb Playbook in my possession - software updating as we speak.
Still not happy with the customer service - waiting to see what they do about overnight shipping costs when it was not overnight.
The only positive about purchasing this from Shop Blackberry is the price. I will NEVER purchase anything else through them again and will not recommend them to anyone, even my worst enemy.
Congrats! I finally got logged in, and my status is "Inventory Hold"....I'm scurred.
Perhaps if you bombard them with terse emails like I have, you will at least get something shipped.
By the way, typing this on the new PB. I'm a three finger typer to begin with, to tjis is really easy for me!
I've sent one email and I called once. When I called, apparently it was a bad connection or the rep was faking it to get out of talking to me because she hung up on me.
Doesn't surprise me at all. Like I said, the only positive of dealing with that sorry bunch is a 64gb model for such a low price.
I'll take my business elsewhere in the future!
Got an email back from them, saying they were showing it on the shipping dock for delivery. That would be great to get it this weekend sometime but I'm not holding my breath.
