Hello,

I am thinking about following this procedure to install Yahoo Messenger service book. Before I do that, I was wondering if there are security issues I should be concerned about using a service book that did not come from my carrier (AT&T)? For example, would it forward a copy of my IM conversations to someone I don�t know?

I am not familiar with service books and don�t know if it can be updated with malicious stuff and given out. I looked into the service book file and noticed that there were google and gtalk text in there. What is this about?

I am just being cautious.

the tmo 8320 comes with yahoo messenger, WL messenger, AIM, ICQ
shouldnt be any problem
