Is there any specific OS that helps the batter run longer?

I've heard that 131 is the best one for battery life. Personally, I use 138 for more responsiveness. It does go through the battery if I browse all day, but that's why I bought a car charger.

You'd probably get better response to your question in the Curve forums...

I agree that currently, 4.5.0.131 is the best OS for the 8330. You can get faster, more responsive OSs, but it usually comes at the expense of battery performance.

    Hey man!

Its all speculation as to if an OS can improve battery life.
There are things you can do to preserve battery life or
simple invest in a bettery with an extended life

    Preserve battery:
    Lower screen light
    Use standby frequently
Turn off radio in no reception area
    Limit apps running in background
Turn off wifi/bluetooth when not in use

    Battery
Buy a new battery with a longer life
    Alternate between 2 batteries.

If longer battery life is what your into
Any or all of the above will help.

If longer battery life is what your interested
