Restart your device, you should find this has been resolved.

    Try to do this:

Before you restart your device, switch location services off --> restart (when possible pull out battery when phone is switched off) --> wait 30 minutes after the device has started up --> then turn on location services again

Don't think I've found a satisfying answer as to why location services and an external server are related to the phones internal sensors like rotation etc.

Are iPhones and Androids the same?

Turn your location Services off! Then reset. Its a temporary solution but it works!
    Please fix!
