Ok, I am switching over to the dark side (i.e. Android based phone). I know I need to wipe all my personal data off my Curve 8330, but how do I go about having its PIN disassociated with my BIS account and my BIS account deleted? Do I call Sprint (my carrier) after I activate my HTC Hero and have their BB support dept delete my BIS account (and then give me my MSL so I can do a full phone wipe)?

You phone up sprint and ask for youre pin to be released. Not sure about wipe, cant you just go into a menu and do this ?

Yes. Just have the carrier release the device from your account.

And even though it sounds like you already know this; options >security options > wipe handheld.
