    At boot-up my BB Curve shows "Verifying Security Software".

    What security software is it verifying?

    It's internal software. That's a normal message.

    Thanks, I'm new to BB and am having other issues. I was thinking something in the "Security " might have been set that prevented it from connecting to my PC, which is my root problem right now.
