security for emails/sms folders?

is there a way to have a password field when you open any of your message folders. or can just anyone who is "playing" with your bb go into your messages?

There is the ability to set a pw for your device, overall. You cannot set one for individual applications.

Go to Options > Security Options > General Settings.
