- I downloaded a security ap, named "lookout mobile security".....quickly I realized it wasn't what I was looking for, but it disabled my connection to my PC.
I've gone into the Blackberry Desktop Manager and tried to connect with no luck. I click on the connections link and when it asks for my PIN# it will not let me type in any numbers...the cursor (to type) is blinking but I cannot type in the window.
Any help provided would be greatly appreciated.
Thank you.

That said, BuddyGuard Pro blows them both out of the water. The app doesn't stay open in the background like Lookout and Smrtguard do, so it doesn't cause any difference in battery life. The lock feature in BuddyGuard is next to none. If you lock it, NOTHING will get it unlocked other than entering the password. Also, you can command the app via email or text. Comes in handy if you're hanging with friends and need to find your phone when there isn't a computer around.
Okay, back to your problem.. Have you tried deleting the app and doing a battery pull to seeing if that fixes the issue?Last edited by Spiral_ouT; 11-29-10 at 11:30 AM.

- Not completely true. The free version of Smrtguard only offers remote tracking and audio ping (according to their site). Lookout offers wireless backup, tracking/ping, and antivirus (which I just turn off). I use Lookout and think it's a decent program for it being free.11-30-10 04:22 PMLike 0
