Too much would be ignoring the family for the bb. I have been very vigilant not to do this. I check it about every hour though.

But seriously it all depends on why your using. If its for work/business then you may be on it nonstop.
If you're just playing on it/texting anything more than a couple of hours and I'd be worried about how I was spending my time

My buddy goes a little too far in the fact that he will set his phone outside of the shower and if he gets a message or a call, he will check it. I know this b/c he answered the phone when I called and he was in the shower.

Just what was said here, lol Although personally i dont think one could get to much usage out of there blackberry. if it were a life or death situation i would chose the blackberry over the other think maybe

I guess I have used it too much. I used to have two blackberry pearls (two separate lines, one business, one personal) and my puppy must've been jealous that I was playing with them because I left the house for 20 minutes to drop my son off to school and when i came home he had chewed them both up!!! (left them on the night stand).

Replaced my two pearls with one Curve and my son's old Motorola Razor (you really only need one blackberry).
