When I search from the universal search, I always pick google. But when I have a browser already open and I type a search into the bar, it searches with bing. How do I change that to google as well?????????????

1) open your browser
2) type "dog" into the address bar
3) BEFORE pressing enter or commanding the search, there is an icon at the top right that shows the Bing logo, tap here
4) switch it to Google

All your browser searches from now on will be done with Google

You can also type the URLs for other search engines in and once loaded, click "Save Search" and it will be added to the drop-down.
You can remove ones you're not using anymore afterwards also.

I didn't know that! I don't use any other search engines, but that's awesome to know! BlackBerry, surprising me once again.
