ok, so I have the original sd card that came with the phone. I have purchased a bigger card.

My question is, are all the items on my phone going to stay on there if I put a new card in it? I have done a backup, and do a backup every 7 days. Just want to make sure all my apps that I have arent going to be gone, or have to be re-downloaded?

Apps are installed on the phone so they'll still be there after you swap the card.

Exactly. You'll just need to copy everything from the old card to the new one.
