    Help! My BB just occasionally gets hot n it drains the battery! How am I supposed to deal with this kind of problem?I'm currently using .266 OS..Bold..any help is greatly appreciated..thx everyone

    If it is within the 12 month warranty period, take it in for a warranty replacement.

    sounds like its a bad battery. i would try replacing that before the phone.

    Really?u guys recommend so?I see..so diagnosed it the battery problem..not the OS version or what eh?btw,do ur bbs got warm occasionally?

    idk about the bold but none of my BB's have ever gotten hot.. the flip, the pearls, the 710Xts, 7230... none of em! Ask a friend with the same battery to swap to rule it out

    But I heard that bolds get hot is common..even some of the bolds sold in japan was withdrawn?issues from RIM?
