Has anyone used the 5 foot Samsung USB with a BB10 device long enough to notice any abnormal effects such as eventual dropping of the charger threshold? For instance I had a Samsung Exhibit 4G that was 1.0a and after using exclusively this charger after 2 or 3 months the phone would die quicker. I know the BlackBerry OEM charger is 0.750a, would this Samsung OEM cord be a bad choice in the long OR short run? I want it mainly for the length. The charger I'm currently using during the day is a Griffin 0.750a USB with a LG base (Don't ask, bought 9900 used without charger and this was the ONLY charger I could ever use. Even the Griffin base or LG 0.7a USB didn't work until this specific combination) Now any MicroUSB will charge my Q10 but I'm afraid of vampiring the battery.

It should be fine. 0.7 A is what the original charger is.
The BlackBerry can't identify the make of the charger. Only the current and voltage.

No, the OEM charger is 0.750a. I don't really know that much about voltage but personally I think it would be alright. I just don't want to lose my current rate of 20 hours on one charge.

I know the oem charges is 750mA. 700 won't harm the BlackBerry. Lower never does. Higher does. It will only take a little longer to charge than 750 but not much.

    So a 1.0a charger wouldn't be a good idea?

Well the 1A charger would charge it faster. The PlayBook charger is 2.5A and I have used it to charge my Z30 a few times. It doesn't seem any worse for wear.
