High heat. High humidity. Moisture. All bad for any cellphone.

Just take a moisture strip in with you and see what happens. it will be bright pink within seconds.

I sure wouldn't do it. That may be just enough humidity to turn the liquid detection sticker a color you never want to see

    That would void your warranty.

I doubt the heat will be an issue though, but the others for sure.Operating temperature for the discreet components is far in excess what a human being can survive.

Although I'm willing to try and prove that wrong, if I can get the results posted to YouTube I will. Just me and Bud Dwyer side by side in the hot box.

I'm an avid gym goer, and I make about 4-6 trips into the sauna each workout, and
nothing has ever happened to my cell phones in there. Been doing it for almost 6
years and not one bad phone.

BUT BUT BUT... you only stay in there for a few minutes at a time right?

    Just want to clarify.

I've been in there for as long as 20 minutes. But on average, each of my
sauna visits are maybe 5-8 minutes.

I even take my iPhone in there with no problem.

@ the OP, you can certainly trust forever29, he knows his stuff.

That being said, I still wouldn't risk it just to be on the safe side.

I had a Touch Diamond's moisture strip turn red from a hotel swimming pool room (it was an indoor poll) and it wasn't very warm in there, just very humid. No don't do it.

I used to think a ziplock was a good and cheap option... until I saw how much moisture condenses INSIDE the ziplock. A Drybag or similar is really the only safe way to have your BB in damp environments.

Exactly. If it was a steam room then that's a big no-no. Can't take any
electric device in there. You for sure would ruin it. If you put the phone in a
Ziploc bag in the sauna it's going to produce moisture.

Again, I've been taking my cell phones in the sauna for years and haven't had
    any problems.
