hi all,

i'm traveling in canada now and i am wondering when the bb registers data from emails. does it register as soon as the device picks up the email or when i open the email. the reason i ask is because i am curious as to whether i would be charged for the data used if i do not open an email. i hope this makes sense. thanks for any help you all can provide!

Im pretty sure it will still charge you once the email is received and not whether you open it or not.

you"ll be charged once the e-mail gets to your device regardless of whether you open it or not.

You will be charged for the data when the device connects to the server to receive the emails. Same as a text message charge - if its received its a billable charge.
