    Yes, it's android. The app is pretty slick. The app mirrors what's happening on the show, in real time and allows you too vote as well. Apparently, it will also allow you to download audio performances.

    Also, more importantly, if the current change in strategy evidenced by the Amazon deal, allows us to continue using this amazing OS, I'm all for the consumer side being mostly Android apps. That may change in time with greater device BB10 adoption.

    You're also able to minimise the Rising Star app, to post on CrackBerry, and return to the ABC app, without having lost connectivity. I find the BB10 multitasking extremely intuitive and effective.
    I'm not so happy with multitasking on my Ipad.

    Actually they have opened up voting for Canada specifically. I don't use droid apps but I'm glad that many can now have that option.
