It is with great sadness in my heart that I report the passing of Ken (Bungaboy) Anderson on Friday, January 20, 2017.

Ken was an avid BlackBerry supporter. But more importantly, Ken was a wonderful and caring person. He leaves a wonderful family and a community in which he's revered. His passion for technology was superseded only by his passion for friends and loved ones.

As an early contributor to the 500K thread here, he proved to be truly a great friend to many. We will certainly miss Ken, but his legend will live on with all of us. Rest in peace Ken. And, as he would say to us in difficult times, "Stand Sure!". We love you, Ken!

Ken was an awesome and enthusiastic contributor but mor than this, he was part of the BBRY 'gang'.

So sorry to hear the news and I'm lost for words. Ken and I although we never met I consider him a friend. We had numerous discussions and jokes via BBM and he was one of the founders of the 1Million K challenge. RIP BungaDude

Having spoken to Ken many MANY times both officially And on a friendly basis, I am deeply saddened at his passing. He was a huge part of the CrackBerry family and he will be sorely missed. My thoughts and prayers are with him and his family! And for 1 last time I say in his memory....

What a sad time it is.

Bungaboy (Ken) was quite the character, he wasn't afraid to say what was on his mind and I admired him for that. He demonstrated excellent values and compassion in every discussion here and we are fortunate to have known him for this very reason alone. I would see his name on a thread and laugh as I knew we would be getting the Bungaboy "hammer" on the issue. Go in peace.

So sad. I wouldn't have known him if I saw him in person but I know the name and his avatar here on CB and elsewhere. I've enjoyed the banter and his sense of humor. We lost another good person today.

His daughter Jennifer says it was a heart attack. His wife found him in bed on Friday so at least it was a peaceful passing.

Ken will be missed immensely. Guy had a heart of gold, always something funny to say as well as a pick me up when you were down. This is truly a loss and I'm deeply saddened to read this today.
