I do not often use the bluetooth on my curve 8330. But, after i disable the bluetooth (seems to slow everything down if i leave it on), my phone ringer changes by itself to a different, barely audible, ringtone.

When i go to try and change it back, it still shows as being on the proper ringtone--but, states that it is an invalid ringtone, or something to that effect.

A battery pull is required to get it back to the proper ringtone

    any hints??

    Thanks tons,

im having the same problem, i think. i noticed today that all of my ringer setting have changed, which is a maaaaaaaajjjjjjjjjjooooooooooorrrrrrr pain bc bb finds it necessary to assign a ringer to every single tiny little eentsy weentsy thing. would be nice to be able to do a global change, but ** hum. anyways, the only thing i did differently that i can recall is use a new samsung bluetooth earpiece. using my car's bluetooth, however, didnt change the ringtones.

anyone have any ideas as to why this is happening and how to prevent it (besides throwing away the samsung earpiece)?
