    i need the to know which ones these are:

    what are the ''level 1 messages"?
    ''messenger alert''?
    ''messenger new message''?

    Pin Messages (or from within the BES? I believe though I am not on BES)....or setup in profiles in DM at your will.

    This you set when you tag someone to be alerted when they are unavailable it will alert you with this sound.. (if they are unavailable in bbm menu button them and set alert)

    Any new message within BBM


    hopefully the BES folks will explain how they use it on BES

    Level one is also PIN messages. So just in case you get them.
