Hey so just wondering because I saw on Mobile Syrup a article about an upcoming Windows 8 device...HTC 8X will be company's first Windows Phone 8 device, according to leaked manual | MobileSyrup.com

It says there is a notification LED...

Since RIM is known for its Notification LED, and has been using that for many years now...does RIM have a patent on the use of it? Not sure if thats possible, but it may be.

Non-RIM devices have had LED notifications for YEARS. If RIM somehow held that patent don't you think something would be done by now?
