I've used 8330, 9630 and now Storm2. I went with the Storm2 because at the time, it was the fastest processor, had more memory, OpenGL and a big screen. It seemed that everyone was developing stuff for the touchscreen and with the iPhone and Droids, it looked like the wave of the future. Since MWC, it sounds like the RIMS major emphasis now is the Bolds. With >50% of new BBs going to non enterprise users and stiff competition from other vendors, can RIM afford to stay with the traditional form factor? Even with the cool trackpad, I might find it difficult to go back to the small screen and tiny keyboard. What do you think will be RIM's main product line development? Is the vertical slider the answer to both worlds?
