I just set up my replacement Verizon 8330 and for some reason the Yahoo email icon does not want to come up.Ive searched on here and it seems to be a known problem on other devices but no one has listed the 8330.

Verizon could not solve the problem,they re sent the service books a few times and made me pull the battery out.

verizon then transfered me to Blackberry support and theydid the same and told me that "there is not way to resolve this".

Yep. This was changed with the last update. It's gone for now. You will only get the generic mail icon. No one knows if they will bring it back.

I don't know about Verizon or the Curve, but this happened to me on AT&T with my Bold. I deleted my email from my BIS account and re-added it via my phone's Email Setup wizard. The icon came back. Can't hurt to try, right? :O

Its gone on the 5.0 OS as well for all Tours.. I miss the yahoo icon, but I'm sure it will come back again in a later build
