Folk, need some help on removing IT Security. Tried the Wipe handheld which did not not clear security policy. Looks like JL_CMdr is an option but it looks like you have to reload os(currently on 4.5). Also I dont see much documentation for Error 507 which means its clean. but tell me it doesnt show everytime.
I no longer work for the company that applied the policy.. so thats not an option.

Error 507 means your device has no OS and it's waiting for a reload. It will appear every single time.

Just like when you boot your PC with no OS, you get some stop error/message..

yep, saw that. Wondering if there is something new out there. The JL_CMdr looks like you download app to desktop, open and sync. I'm not up to reloading the os if that is a byproduct of jl_cmdr

JL = Java Loader. It basically allows you to completely wipe the device (throws up error 507 after), event ID, Logs as well as restore (must have OS 4.3 installed).

It's basically used to cleanly remove all corrupt aspects of an OS and allows for a reload.

If you follow the link that Ldubs gave you, you wont have to reinstall the OS. Wiping the device with jl_cmdr will reslut on the 507 error...meaning now OS at all as sniffs suggests.

Yes.. If you're showing 561/507 error, your information is hosed and an OS re-install is required.

If you want to remove the IT policy without reloading the OS follow the link that was given for removing it. That process does not require a complete wipe. As sniffs is saying..if you have the 607 error you have no other choice but reload the OS. If you didnt do a backup then all your info is gone.
