I would like to not receive emails to my bb but when I erased the email add I wasn't able to go online with it! Is it possible to not receive emails without having this tragic side effect?

How did you "erase the email"?

I erased it through the email manager I believe

Set up your email back on the blackberry. Go to your providers BIS and log in to your account. Set up a filter that prevents all email from being sent to your BB.

Thanks but not quite up on some of the lingo, could you please tell me what bis means(I've also seen something about bes as well) any info given is much appreciated-Thanks

BIS = Blackberry Internet Service; BES = Blackberry Enterprise Server
First of all you need to identify if you are on an enterprise server (i.e. work related server for emails, calendar, etc) or if its set up for only personal internet stuff (not connected to any work computer). My instructions only work if your BB is for personal use, if its through the work server then I dont know how to change things.
