Remove Firewall / IT Policy and still use it as a company phone?
- Hi,
I have a BB which I use as a company phone and would like to use a hotmail app as well. I figured that the IT policy and firewall (enabled and locked) won't let me use my hotmail correctly.
I tried to remove it by using crackutil (which works fine) but once I reactivated my company email, same thing happens....
Anyone can help me? Do I need to replace the IT policy manually? If so, can you give me a hint....?
Thanks!!05-14-09 10:24 AMLike 0 - Your on BES I take it? There really is no way around disabling an IT policy i you keep having to do an Enterprise Activation, the policy will keep coming back.
I was on BES awhile back and was able to load any app I wanted.
have you tried loading the hotmail app to your phone yet? Try it if you haven't, you never know if IT has it disabled.
Edit* you may want to tell your IT dept. about it, they will be furious if your trying to backdoor them. They may take your phone away.......or worse.05-14-09 01:35 PMLike 0
