okay now i am lost... what do u mean what option? decribe what u are looking at

when u open the calendar profile it will let u choose 2 types. one for out of holster mode and one for in holster mode.

for each u can choose a type of alert, the tone of alert, volume of alert, and the amount of the alert for both tone and vibrate.

Download "CaptureIt" and post what your looking at so we can see too.

The above directions should have worked flawlessly.

That's what I did, but the reminder tone is still the same.

this is the screen that i am looking at. After changing the ring tone, it's still the same ring tone sound.

btw, I am refering the reminder tone that comes on when a reminder on the calendar is due. On the screen you will see Snooze for 5mins or dismiss

After changing, did you SAVE the changes? Press MENU and select and press SAVE. Are you selecting INTERNAL sounds or mp3 sounds on an SD card? If on card, if you are plugged into the computer (usb), the card is not available.

yes i did save, i am just selecting the sound from the standard list. I find the default reminder sound irritating and it keeps on ringing for a long time.

I only want it to ring once

Please help - I can't even find my way to the "CALENDAR IN NORMAL" screen shown in a previous post. I'd like to set an audible alert on my calendar instead of just the pop-up I get now, but I can't figure out how and have never found the screen where it looks like I could make the change...
