I have a storm and if someone with the new IPHONE 3GS sends me a movie I can't play it. Is there any thing that I can download and install to play the .mov file without having to convert on my PC?

    Thanks.

No. The best you can do is search Google for a program to
convert the file to 3GP or MP4.

Search for user "papped" and in his signature will lead you to his website and from there you can get the video converter that he recommends.

I'm in this exact same spot. Grrr. My wife just got the 3G S and I can't watch the videos on my 8900. VERY frustrating! I don't want a desktop converter. That kind of defeats the point. So basically the iPhone video is only for other iPhones?

Is .mov some type of Apple proprietary file? I thought that 3gp was the usual mobile video format.
