    Hello,

When articles discuss the prices of new BlackBerrys, is that full retail price or when beginning a new contract? I have the BlackBerry Bold in mind and I've read it's coming out at around $300. Is that full retail? If not can anyone project what it might be?

    Thank you,

    Matt.

Most carriers subsidize the price, 50% is typical.

If you see an advertised price that requires a contract, it is subsidized.

Bold, no contract, $800. Agree to 3 years and you get one for $400 or less.

The real answer will come from eBay. Six months from now, you will be able to buy a Bold for $500-600.

i was told that with my carrier [tmobile] it will cost 350 if i buy it with a 2 year contract. I dont know how much it will be full resale. but if its 350 with a 2 year contract, just IMAGINE how much it will be at full retail cost! Especially when its new on the market!
