Sadly that won't come cheap, though Europe is a cheaper roaming destination than others.

Depending on the volume of texting and calling, there are packages from $40 all the way up to $80 for Europe (Zone 2).

    Data is where it really hurts: $50 for 40MB - $100 for 100MB - $225 for 300MB.

In market plans are here: http://www.rogers.com/web/Rogers.por...ns&category=12

I'd call Customer Relations and see if they can give you a break somewhere.

Is your Rogers phone unlocked? If so, why don't you get a local SIM from whatever European country that you are planning to visit and put it into your phone? There are lots of "pay as you go" plans that cover talk, text and data and it will work out a lot cheaper.

What happens if you forward your original number to the new temporary one from another sim? I'm not sure about any long distance or roaming that way. Anyone know more about that?

@crackedup77 Forwarding your phone to another country (even if Rogers allowed it, which they normally don't) incurs long distance fees.

@hockey1299 - You've only got a couple of options. It's a little bit cheaper to do his from your phone, as well (I think you save 10% if you use "My Account" and purchase data plans from there instead of calling it in.

I travel quite a bit - 30+ flights a year overseas - and I always end up sucking it up and buying what Rogers offers.

Note; If you're carrying a BlackBerry10 device they behave very much differently than older BIS based devices from before. Gone is the proprietary email format and internal client - it's all standards based, now, which means no compression etc. As a result the new devices are very data hungry. I try to leave data off as much as possible and disable everything I can in the Hub (LinkedIn, FaceBook, Twitter, EverNote etc etc) so that it is as close to "just email" as possible. For data overseas when you're not on business it's best to try and limit things to WiFi hotspots.

You can also go to www.rogers.com and sign in, there, to see all your options and plans (and to make purchases). Once there on the main page pick "Wireless" from the pull down menus at the top and then Travel.

The one month plan doesn't last long - at least not for me. Be careful.

Ok. So how the Z10 work when roaming then? It's not like the 9900? As I know it's not compressed but how much more could it cost? I'm looking at the text and voice plans as well this 40MB plan would that be enough for some emails and Facebook, Twitter and some browsing? And other Notifications that come in the hub? I'm going for 2 weeks. I will look for wifi tho. Isn't it cheaper per MB when I buy a plan?

Depends on your activity... Everyone's usage is different. What's your monthly usage to begin with? What kind of data plan do you have now?
