This may be a dumb or stupid question...

When my gf forwarded me an email, the message body of the forwarded email got attached as a 4kb .html file. Is there any setting I can change (either on the phone or in hotmail) that copies the message body from the forwarded email to the message body of the new email that she's sending me (similar to how when you reply and the original email is copied just below the new one)?

It's annoying to have to open up the browser to read the message of the email.

I should also mention that we are both on 10.2.1. I'm not sure if this is a new feature of the OS, or maybe I just never noticed it before. Or maybe because the original email also had a .doc file attachment that the body got defaulted to an .html attachment as well? I don't know...

Any help would be appreciated.

Maybe your Hotmail service? I don't see that with forward gmail msgs.
I did notice trying to forward a msg with 3 attachments, the one pdf attachment would not get sent. Had to send it by itself. Strange.

Perhaps she changed the plain text formatting on the three dot menu on the setting menu when "forwarding " the email to you, she needs to open it and change it back from html "plain text format".its the last option on the three dot menu where it says "more"
