The BB you have doesn't need it, you have plenty of memory. Back in the Pearl, Curve (83XX) and Storm1 days, and earlier, you needed to worry about clearing the log. You can safely skip it now.
Makes no sense or difference at all seeing as the Event Log will only contain 400kb
of data, maximum. As new events are written older ones drop out of the log.
Also, before it gets asked, removing the Event Log Viewer from the OS via "shrinking"
methods does not prevent the log from being created. You will just have no native
way to see it.

Yeaa Totally agree with you ! Shrinking is the best way .. I'm waiting the next leak for 9300 to shrink it& install it
