I deleted the vad cod files from my Tour since I never use them. My question is will they automatically re install if I upgrade or rerun my OS thru DM?

I think so, VAD is part of the Core OS, not an option you can select from the Applications Loader list.

If you are installing from your computer, you will have to remove the COD each time you upgrade the software.

Would the same be true for word, sheet, doc to go? I don't presently have a need for them but would like to know I'd be able to put them back on if I ever need to. I'd like to say thanks for your replies it is because of these forums I've been able to figure things like this out.

DocsToGo is one of the choices from the OS package, but it is the sample version only. You can review and edit Word or Powerpoint documents but you can not create a new document.

    *sheepishly walks in*
Actually if you loaded a blank Word or Excel Document, you could then in fact make a new doc using it.
If you leave Docs in your OS, or make a "Removed" folder inside Java and transfer the files there, you can always add it later.
